Privacy Policy

Revo Proposals ("we," "us," or "our") operates revoproposal.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and business details.
Proposal and client data: Proposal content, client names, emails, addresses, and signatures you create or collect through the Service.
Usage data: We log how proposals are opened, viewed, and engaged with — including time spent on sections — to provide analytics features to you.
Audio and photo data: If you use voice transcription or photo analysis features, audio and image files are processed and then discarded. We do not store raw audio or photos long-term.
Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.
Device and log data: IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps are logged for security and debugging purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To send transactional emails (proposal delivery, signature confirmations, follow-ups you initiate)
- To provide you with analytics and engagement data on your proposals
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data or your clients' data to third parties. Ever.
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with the following categories of service providers, strictly to operate the Service:
- Supabase — database and file storage
- Clerk — authentication and account management
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Anthropic — AI proposal generation and analysis
- OpenAI — audio transcription
- Google — address verification and image generation
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Each provider is contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services we've engaged them for.
4. Your Clients' Data
When you use Revo Proposals, you collect data from your clients (names, emails, signatures). You are the data controller for that information. We process it only on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process your clients' data, and for honoring any requests they make regarding their personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it. Proposal records and signatures may be retained longer if required for legal or audit purposes.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and access controls on all stored files. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
7. Cookies
We use session cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our public landing page does not set cookies.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@revoproposal.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
